"The Deepest, Most Luxurious Massage On The Planet" Unlike regular Swedish massage, Ashiatsu (ashi means foot and atsu means pressure) incorporates foot pressure from a therapist trained directly by Ruthie Piper Hardee, founder of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy® (AOBT), and has been described as "the deepest, most luxurious massage on the planet." Ashiatsu is an ancient form of bodywork brought to us by Buddhist monks. It is an adaptation of an ancient form of barefoot massage that utilizes deep compression effleurage strokes to glide over the body. During an AOBT session, a therapist stands above your body balancing themselves using two bars suspended from the ceiling while using their feet to apply pressure on the back and shoulders. Gravitational force is combined with centrifugal and centripetal movements to bring about a structural change in chronic soft tissue damage. Servi Tailored Massage Reservations & Cancellation Policy The Spa services are very popular. Spa services are available by appointment. All services must be guaranteed with a major credit card to reserve your appointment. We recommend booking spa reservations in advance and will do everything possible to honor your request and time. Appointments are booked based on availability, not therapist gender. We recommend scheduling your appointment as one or two days in advance to ensure availability. To reserve any spa services, we require a credit card or gift certificate or gift card number to guarantee the appointment. Parties of 4 or more are considered a group, and require a Spa Contract. First Time Guests Cancellation Policy Cancellations affect Heights Massage & Day Spa significantly due to our intimate size. Therefore we must uphold strict policies. However, guests are always welcome to send someone else in their place. We require a 24-hour notice for any changes to appointments- including moving your appointment to a later time, 48 hour notice for changes or cancellations of multiple appointments, and 72 hour notice for packages. Special events & offers may have different policies. Private parties and wedding events require two full weeks notice for any changes. A cancellation or a no show fee is charged if you are within either of these time periods when canceling an appointment or packages, No-shows are charged 100% for all scheduled services and or packages. (Please plan accordingly for bad weather, traffic and road conditions, or daylight savings time, as to not inconvenience yourself or have an abbreviated session). Any Gift Card, Spa Certificate or Gift Certificate or promotional gift certificate (prgc) or prepaid massage series, facial series or Endermologie package series associated with any appointment that does not adhere to the cancellation policy will be considered redeemed in the amount of the service that was reserved. Arrival Prior to Treatment Spa Certificate, Gift Certificate, Gift Card policy The words "Spa Certificate", "Gift Certificate" and "Gift Card" are used interchangably. We reserve the right to modify any package, including, without limitation, removing, adding or replacing any offering with one of equal or greater value at anytime and without notice.
