Welcome to Heights Massage & Day Spa

Since 1996, this Heights location has been a Day Spa environment assisting thousands of clients throughout the Greater Houston area in achieving improved health, beauty and enhanced quality of life. Heights Massage and Day Spa utilizes healing massage therapies, spa treatments, facial and skincare.

Heights Massage and Day Spa is open 7 days a week, open most holidays, takes late appointments and have a staff of about 10 treatment providers. The convenience factor with over 1,500 appointments available each month make it welcoming for both men and women alike.

Heights Massage doesn’t advertise, and there’s no signage, which, to daytime passersby, appears to be nothing more than a well kept and manicured cottage style house.  A high Japanese wood fence and lush foliage further mask this semi-secret day spa from the street, but come your appointment time, the doors open to a tranquil healing location for massage therapies, spa treatments, facials and beauty.

Appointment Scheduling
We strongly suggest you pre- book your next appointment to assure your day and time preferences can be accommodated.

Reservations & Cancellation Policy

We strive to give you our very best in order to enhance your spa experience with us. We adhere to certain policies to benefit you, our most special guest, and also to benefit our valued therapists.

The Spa services are very popular. Spa services are available only by appointment. All services must be guaranteed with a major credit card to reserve your appointment. Your card will not be charged, however it will reserve the amount of the service in our name. We recommend booking spa reservations in advance and will do everything possible to honor your request and time. Appointments are booked based on availability. We recommend scheduling your appointment as two or three days in advance to ensure availability. To reserve any spa services, we require a credit card or gift certificate or gift card number to guarantee the appointment.

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy: We aim to provide our clients the highest quality service and we pride ourselves on our exceptional staff. If you cancel within less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have taken your scheduled appointment time.

When we reserve the therapist’s time especially for you, please give us at least 24 hours notice to avoid paying the full value of the service for any cancellations or re-scheduling to a later time or date. If you are moving your appointment earlier and we can accommodate your request there will be no charge. Because we may turn people away for the time we hold for you, the cancellation policy still applies even if you are making the appointment for the same day. 

Because spa treatments are reserved for you, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

No-shows and same-day appointment cancellations less than 24 hours will be charged the full value of the treatment reserved, and/or any gift card or certificate associated with that appointment will count as services rendered and forfeited. If you are canceling an appointment that you've also previously rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice - you will be charged full price. If you are moving your appointment time later there will be a 20% change of appointment or/and rescheduling fee as long as your new appointment gets rebooked at the time of cancelation.

This insures all other guests the opportunity to enjoy our services. A cancellation confirmation number will be given to you as your proof of exactly when your appointment was cancelled or changed.

But, we're reasonable. We understand that emergencies "come up." Therefore, we only charge 50% of the services that would have been rendered and only if we cannot find another client to fill your slot. However, if you fail to appear for your appointment without attempting to cancel your appointment beforehand, a full fee is charged to your credit card for missed appointments that are reschedule or canceled less than 24 hours or 48 hours on spa packages. This is why we require a credit card from you to guarantee your reservation.

If you are moving your appointment to an earlier time and we can fit you, there will not be a charge. If you are moving your appointment to a later time/date, there will be a 20% rescheduling fee.

Deposits:
Deposits are required for some services and for parties of four or more. Deposits may also be required if there are frequent No Show or Cancellation occurrences. Deposits are refundable up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled service appointment time unless modified by other Agreements such as Bridal Party and Group contracts. Deposits are non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.

Tips and Gratuities:

People wonder about tipping. We proudly recruit and train our staff to be the most qualified spa professionals in the industry. Our recommended standard gratuity for spa treatments is 18%-20%. Our therapists, of course appreciate your acknowledgement if they have done an exceptional job, however, if the added expense of the tip makes it a financial challenge, we would rather see you a second time rather than having you worry about a tip. Gratuities are not included in gift cards unless otherwise noted. Tips are appropriate for all Spa Services, but not for Consultations or Programs.

Gratuity is not included in any of our services. Gift cards do not include gratuity unless specified. For groups of 4 or more - a 20% gratuity will be added (see group contract).

If you would like to show your appreciation, you may do so at the end of your visit. Just ask for a gratuity envelope. Cash gratuities are always appreciated.

Gift Certificate or Gift Card Return Policy:

Gift Certificates and cards are available for services only and not redeemable if lost or stolen and are non transferable. Our spa reserves the right to convert service based gift certificates to their cash value, equivalent to what was paid for the gift certificate, at our own discretion. Expired gift cards and certificates may be redeemed with a $20.00 reactivation fee. All gift certificate sales are final, with no refunds. If appointment made to redeem your gift certificate is not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, we will be unable to redeem your certificate or card.

Late Arrivals:
We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service times and you will be responsible for full service fees.

If you are a late arrival and also request an additional service, you will still be responsible for the full service fee of your original request plus the full service fee for your additional service in the remaining time allotted.

We recommend booking spa reservations in advance and will do everything possible to honor your request and time. Appointments are booked based on availability.

If you are receiving any of our services for the first time, please arrive fifteen minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out the intake form and to also decompress a bit from the stress of Houston traffic.

Children/Infants:
In order to maximize your spa experience and that of our other guests, we strongly ask that children under 17 (especially toddlers and infants) are not allowed in the spa unless they are receiving a service. Even if you have someone else watching them for you in the lobby- the sound of an infant or toddler's cries can carry and is disruptive to the peace and tranquility of everyone's experience- yours, your therapists and other guests. Please do not put us in the position to ask you to reschedule if you arrive with a child. A fee for the lost appointment may also be levied.

Jewelry, Lost or Stolen Items:
We suggest you arrange for your valuables prior to your visit with us. Do not put your jewelry into tissues or on the table. Heights Massage and Day Spa assumes no liability for lost or stolen items.

Health Conditions:

When scheduling your appointment, please advise us of any medical conditions, allergies or injuries that could affect your service. A doctor's release may be required prior to performing certain services, such as massage.

Cell phones/Pagers:
To ensure a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests, we ask that cell phones and pagers not be used in the spa.

Acceptable Forms of Payment:
We gladly accept Cash, Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Card with photo identification. Sorry, No Checks Accepted.
